Best breakfast and brunch!
Apparently brunch is all the rage this year. Always keen to be trendy, Enjoy England put together a feature on the best places to eat brunch in England. Take a look - there are a few ideas. Keen to get some more though, I wrote another feature, this time on the best B&B breakfasts. I've also been asking some work colleagues to tell me if they've been anywhere (in a B&B or just for the morning) and had a really nice breakfast / brunch recently.
Apparently the English breakfast offered at the Carline Guest House, Lincoln is first class. Owners Barry and Jackie welcomed our Senior Account Executive in the morning with fresh juice and newspaper and took his order for breakfast! "They use local ingredients, and of course the infamous Lincolnshire sausages", he enthusiastically told me. This hearty breakfast set him up well for the day ahead!
Our resident food and drink expert had a fab breakfast at Inn the Park. "Very impressive and great British produce featured on the menu - very important!" Visit our Taste website for more information on food and drink from around the English regions, or use our producer search to discover a good food producer near you!
Our Digital Development Manager went to Tootsies in Richmond for a reasonably priced meal consisting of "lovely big bangers, eggs mushroom, bacon, fried bread, hash browns, baked beans, juice - the works"!! They have restaurants in several locations. Check out their website for more. Looks family friendly too!! (OK, so apparently it's an American chain, but this blog is democratic, and these restaurants are in England, so enjoy them!)
Fancy something a little more refined than bacon and eggs? Try the Radisson Edwardian Mayfair Hotel in London for a deliciously delicate breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and a glass of champagne!!
And of course, for those of us who want a decent breakfast but don't have the luxury of too much time, there's always Pret!
Put a good brunch on your list of things to do this year! And if you really enjoy yourself, remember to let us know where you went!

I agree on Carlin's. no doubt about it being one of the best.
