My London Bond Experience

  The last few weeks have seen me experience a slice of Bond’s glamorous and adventurous lifestyle with tickets to the long awaited Quantum of Solace Premiere and a high speed River Boat trip along the Thames.

Quantum of Solace Premiere
I never thought I would ever be lucky enough to attend a Royal film premiere. However my luck soon changed when tickets to the Quantum of Solace Premiere arrived at work! It was such a memorable evening, one which I will treasure for years to come. As one would expect from a film premiere, there were a whole list of stars walking the red carpet, paparazzi and plenty of glitz and glam!

The film had most of the Bond elements, but was fairly untypical of Bond with a lot more action packed scenes along with some impressive stunts, performed by Daniel Craig himself. The after party at Battersea Power Station in London was a glamorous affair with a delicious selection of canapés, Bollinger champagne and plenty of Martini's shaken and stirred.

High Speed River Boat Experience
The second part of my Bond experience involved a high speed jet boat trip down the Thames taking in all the sights along the way including the MI6 building, the Houses of Parliament, London Eye, through to the Tower of London past Greenwich and down to the Thames Barrier.

The trip also takes you past some of the scenes from the spectacular high-speed boat chase from the The World is Not Enough, including the O2 Arena, and with the wind and water in our face as we sped down the Thames it gives us a taste of what it must have been like.
