Recently I visited one of London’s newest attractions ‘Ripley’s Believe it Or Not!’. Based on the life work of Robert Leroy Ripley, this exhibition makes you question the magnificent human body and all that it can endure and right from the start it certainly managed that.

Last weekend I visited the Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms, in central London. Tickets provide you with entrance into both museums which are located together. The entrance fee also includes a free audio guide, making this a great value day out.

Last Friday night I took a trip on the London Eye. I have been a few times before, but always during the day time and each time the weather was perfect, allowing you to see for miles and miles (even as far as Alexandra Palace and beyond for those of you from North London). However this was my first evening trip and I was really looking forward to it, seeing one of my favourite parts of London with the river and the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben all lit up.

Emerging from a visit to my friendly Soho hair salon, and a trek in the rain to return a shirt in Regent Street, this ‘weekday singleton’ was tempted to grab a bite to eat before heading home. Taking a shortcut between Regent Street and Piccadilly down Swallow Street, I discovered, by chance, the newest branch of Fishworks, their 10th branch in London complementing the Bath, Bristol and Christchurch branches.

When I received an invite to go and see Roger Waters of Pink Floyd fame at The O2 on Monday I did a double take. I am a huge fan of Pink Floyd. Moreover, The Dark Side of the Moon is my favourite album so you can imagine how I felt when I heard Waters was going to play it all the way through.

Last week I received a phone call asking me if I would like to attend the James Bond premiere for Casino Royale. As one of the film events of the year how could I say no!!!.
The event was truly a star studded affair attended by the Queen, the stars of the film including Daniel Craig, Dame Judi Dench (who looked fabulous), Beyonce, Paris Hilton and so many more – the list just went on.
