Editor's adventures: Jack's back

Dungeons  This month you voted to send me on a visit to the London Dungeons.  After completing four scary adventures I was hoping for a passive experience but I duly did your bidding and went along to see what it was all about.

Ripley's 'Believe it Or Not!'

Ripleys_small_tcm27-43534 Recently I visited one of London’s newest attractions ‘Ripley’s Believe it Or Not!’. Based on the life work of Robert Leroy Ripley, this exhibition makes you question the magnificent human body and all that it can endure and right from the start it certainly managed that.

Magic - the London Eye at night

London eye at night 2 Last Friday night I took a trip on the London Eye. I have been a few times before, but always during the day time and each time the weather was perfect, allowing you to see for miles and miles (even as far as Alexandra Palace and beyond for those of you from North London). A Soho bite

Piccadillycircus Emerging from a visit to my friendly Soho hair salon, and a trek in the rain to return a shirt in Regent Street, this ‘weekday singleton’ was tempted to grab a bite to eat before heading home. Taking a shortcut between Regent Street and Piccadilly down Swallow Street, I discovered, by chance, the newest branch of Fishworks, their 10th branch in London complementing the Bath, Bristol and Christchurch branches.

The Dark Side of the Moon at The O2

Roger_watersWhen I received an invite to go and see Roger Waters of Pink Floyd fame at The O2 on Monday I did a double take. I am a huge fan of Pink Floyd. Moreover, The Dark Side of the Moon is my favourite album so you can imagine how I felt when I heard Waters was going to play it all the way through.

James Bond – Casino Royale Premier

Casinoroyale31 Last week I received a phone call asking me if I would like to attend the James Bond premiere for Casino Royale. As one of the film events of the year how could I say no!!!.

The event was truly a star studded affair attended by the Queen, the stars of the film including Daniel Craig, Dame Judi Dench (who looked fabulous), Beyonce, Paris Hilton and so many more – the list just went on.
