We love…The Museum of the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham

We love...The Lighthouse in Bishopstone, Kent

PFFQ-W01

We’d love to be the lighthouse keeper at this adorable mint-green hideaway. Snoozing on the cliffs of the tranquil seaside town of Herne Bay, The Lighthouse has a balcony that stretches around the octagon tower so you can sit down to tea, coffee or whatever takes your fancy and gaze out to the glittering sea.

We love...Peter Pan-themed
afternoon tea

Peter Pan Afternoon Tea at Lancaster LondonTempting cupcakes at the Lancaster.

I’m the girl who refuses to grow up, and why should I? I have five younger brothers and sisters and a five-year-old niece. I get to go to the park, run around at the zoo and be the cool older sister and aunt. I take the role very seriously and in my latest attempt to hold on to my crown, I took my niece Kess for her first fairy dust-sprinkled afternoon tea.

Elvis-Room

Crashing into our room with armfuls of stuff freshly bought on a spree in Brighton’s shopping haven, North Laine, we came face-to-face with Elvis.

We love...Winter Wonderland at The Montague, London

Winter Wonderland at The Montague

I love this time of year. Open fires, mulled wine, woolly clothes, alpine cabins, clouds of breath hanging in the air, crispy puddles, fluffy snow. If only the snow could be guaranteed…

We love...Biddy's Tea Room

Biddy's Tea Room. Credit:Charlie Buchan

As the streets become particularly leaf-strewn, the days shorter and the mornings a lot more chilly we think there's nothing like a good hot cuppa and a slab of homemade cake to keep the cold out. We  find it especially hard to resist a comforting carb and Earl Grey session at Biddy's in Norwich...

We love…Wedgwood

WEDGWOOD

The recent Royal Wedding and impending Diamond Jubilee have reignited our love for all things royal - aren't Wills and Kate just adorable? Wedgwood, England’s finest china company, has created dinner sets for dozens of royals in its 250+ year history, including an 950-piece ‘Frog Service’ created for Catherine the Great of Russia is made up of more than a thousand hand-painted English views. And why not?  We could think of hundreds of English scenes to eat our scones off of.
